Corinthians I chapter 14

Corinthians I 14:20: ^A .... barniskai sijaiþ, ei fraþjam fullaweisai sijaiþ.; — ἀδελφοί, μὴ παιδία γίνεσθε ταῖς φρεσίν, ἀλλὰ τῇ κακίᾳ νηπιάζετε, ταῖς δὲ φρεσὶν τέλειοι γίνεσθε.; — Fratres, nolite pueri effici sensibus, sed malitia parvuli estote : sensibus autem perfecti estote.; — Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.; — Broeders, wordt geen kinderen in het verstand, maar zijt kinderen in de boosheid, en wordt in het verstand volwassen.; — Frères, ne soyez pas des enfants sous le rapport du jugement; mais pour la malice, soyez enfants, et, à l'égard du jugement, soyez des hommes faits.
Corinthians I 14:21: ^A in witoda gameliþ ist þatei in anþaraim razdom jah wairilom anþaraim rodja managein þizai, jan~ni swa andhausjand mis, qiþiþ frauja.; — ἐν τῷ νόμῳ γέγραπται ὅτι ἐν ἑτερογλώσσοις καὶ ἐν χείλεσιν ἑτέρων λαλήσω τῷ λαῷ τούτῳ, καὶ οὐδ' οὕτως εἰσακούσονταί μου, λέγει κύριος.; — In lege scriptum est : Quoniam in aliis linguis et labiis aliis loquar populo huic : et nec sic exaudient me, dicit Dominus.; — In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.; — In de wet is geschreven: Ik zal door lieden van andere talen, en door andere lippen tot dit volk spreken, en ook alzo zullen zij Mij niet horen, zegt de Heere.; — Il est écrit dans la loi: C'est par des hommes d'une autre langue Et par des lèvres d'étrangers Que je parlerai à ce peuple, Et ils ne m'écouteront pas même ainsi, dit le Seigneur.
Corinthians I 14:22: ^A swaei nu razdos du bandwai sind ni þaim galaubjandam, ak þaim ungalaubjandam; iþ praufetja ni þaim ungalaubjandam, ak þaim galaubjandam.; — ὥστε αἱ γλῶσσαι εἰς σημεῖόν εἰσιν οὐ τοῖς πιστεύουσιν ἀλλὰ τοῖς ἀπίστοις, ἡ δὲ προφητεία οὐ τοῖς ἀπίστοις ἀλλὰ τοῖς πιστεύουσιν.; — Itaque linguæ in signum sunt non fidelibus, sed infidelibus : prophetiæ autem non infidelibus, sed fidelibus.; — Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.; — Zo dan, de vreemde talen zijn tot een teken niet dengenen, die geloven, maar den ongelovigen; en de profetie niet den ongelovigen, maar dengenen, die geloven.; — Par conséquent, les langues sont un signe, non pour les croyants, mais pour les non-croyants; la prophétie, au contraire, est un signe, non pour les non-croyants, mais pour les croyants.
Corinthians I 14:23: ^A jabai gaqimiþ alla aikklesjo samana jah rodjand razdom allai, atuþ~þan~gaggand inn jah unweisai aiþþau ungalaubjandans, niu qiþand þatei dwalmoþ?; — ἐὰν οὖν συνέλθῃ ἡ ἐκκλησία ὅλη ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ πάντες λαλῶσιν γλώσσαις, εἰσέλθωσιν δὲ ἰδιῶται ἢ ἄπιστοι, οὐκ ἐροῦσιν ὅτι μαίνεσθε;; — Si ergo conveniat universa ecclesia in unum, et omnes linguis loquantur, intrent autem idiotæ, aut infideles : nonne dicent quod insanitis ?; — If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?; — Indien dan de gehele Gemeente bijeenvergaderd ware, en zij allen in vreemde talen spraken, en enige ongeleerden of ongelovigen inkwamen, zouden zij niet zeggen, dat gij uitzinnig waart?; — Si donc, dans une assemblée de l'Église entière, tous parlent en langues, et qu'il survienne des hommes du peuple ou des non-croyants, ne diront-ils pas que vous êtes fous?
Corinthians I 14:24: ^A iþ jabai allai praufetjand, iþ innatgaggai ƕas ungalaubjands aiþþau unweis, gasakada fram allaim, ussokjada fram allaim,; — ἐὰν δὲ πάντες προφητεύωσιν, εἰσέλθῃ δέ τις ἄπιστος ἢ ἰδιώτης, ἐλέγχεται ὑπὸ πάντων, ἀνακρίνεται ὑπὸ πάντων,; — Si autem omnes prophetent, intret autem quis infidelis, vel idiota, convincitur ab omnibus, dijudicatur ab omnibus :; — But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:; — Maar indien zij allen profeteerden, en een ongelovige of ongeleerde inkwame, die wordt van allen overtuigd, en hij wordt van allen geoordeeld.; — Mais si tous prophétisent, et qu'il survienne quelque non-croyant ou un homme du peuple, il est convaincu par tous, il est jugé par tous,
Corinthians I 14:25: ^A þo analaugnjona hairtins is swikunþa wairþand, þanuh driusands ana andawleizn inweitiþ guþ, gateihands þatei bi sunjai guþ in izwis ist.; — τὰ κρυπτὰ τῆς καρδίας αὐτοῦ φανερὰ γίνεται, καὶ οὕτως πεσὼν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον προσκυνήσει τῷ θεῷ, ἀπαγγέλλων ὅτι ὄντως ὁ θεὸς ἐν ὑμῖν ἐστιν.; — occulta cordis ejus manifesta fiunt : et ita cadens in faciem adorabit Deum, pronuntians quod vere Deus in vobis sit.; — And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.; — En alzo worden de verborgene dingen zijns harten openbaar; en alzo, vallende op zijn aangezicht, zal hij God aanbidden, en verkondigen, dat God waarlijk onder u is.; — les secrets de son coeur sont dévoilés, de telle sorte que, tombant sur sa face, il adorera Dieu, et publiera que Dieu est réellement au milieu de vous.
Corinthians I 14:26: ^A ƕa nu ist, broþrjus? þan samaþ garinnaiþ, ƕarjizuh izwara psalmon habaiþ, laisein habaiþ, andhulein habaiþ, razda habaiþ, skerein habaiþ, allata du timreinai wairþai.; — τί οὖν ἐστιν, ἀδελφοί; ὅταν συνέρχησθε, ἕκαστος ψαλμὸν ἔχει, διδαχὴν ἔχει, ἀποκάλυψιν ἔχει, γλῶσσαν ἔχει, ἑρμηνείαν ἔχει: πάντα πρὸς οἰκοδομὴν γινέσθω.; — Quid ergo est, fratres ? Cum convenitis, unusquisque vestrum psalmum habet, doctrinam habet, apocalypsim habet, linguam habet, interpretationem habet : omnia ad ædificationem fiant.; — How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.; — Wat is het dan, broeders? Wanneer gij samenkomt, een iegelijk van u, heeft hij een psalm, heeft hij een leer, heeft hij een vreemde taal, heeft hij een openbaring, heeft hij een uitlegging; laat alle dingen geschieden tot stichting;; — Que faire donc, frères? Lorsque vous vous assemblez, les uns ou les autres parmi vous ont-ils un cantique, une instruction, une révélation, une langue, une interprétation, que tout se fasse pour l'édification.
Corinthians I 14:27: ^A jaþþe razdai ƕas rodjai, bi twans aiþþau maist þrins, jah ....; — εἴτε γλώσσῃ τις λαλεῖ, κατὰ δύο ἢ τὸ πλεῖστον τρεῖς, καὶ ἀνὰ μέρος, καὶ εἷς διερμηνευέτω:; — Sive lingua quis loquitur, secundum duos, aut ut multum tres, et per partes, et unus interpretatur.; — If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.; — En zo iemand een vreemde taal spreekt, dat het door twee, of ten meeste drie geschiede, en bij beurte; en dat een het uitlegge.; — En est-il qui parlent en langue, que deux ou trois au plus parlent, chacun à son tour, et que quelqu'un interprète;
