Corinthians I chapter 1

Corinthians I 1:12
A .... ik im Pawlus, ik Apaullons, ik Kefins, ik Xristaus.
— Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
Corinthians I 1:13
A disdailiþs ist Xristus? ibai Pawlus ushramiþs warþ in izwara, aiþþau in namin Pawlus daupidai weseiþ?
— μεμέρισται ὁ χριστός; μὴ παῦλος ἐσταυρώθη ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν, ἢ εἰς τὸ ὄνομα παύλου ἐβαπτίσθητε;
— Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
Corinthians I 1:14
A awiliudo guda ei ainnohun izwara ni daupida niba Krispu jah Gaïu,
— I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
Corinthians I 1:15
A ei ƕas ni qiþai þatei in meinamma namin daupidedjau.
— Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
Corinthians I 1:16
A ik daupida auk jaþ~þans Staifanaus gadaukans; þata anþar ni wait ei ainnohun daupidedjau.
— And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
Corinthians I 1:17
A niþ~þan insandida mik Xristus daupjan, ak wailamerjan; ni in snutrein waurdis, ei ni <us>lausjaidau galga Xristaus.
— For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
Corinthians I 1:18
A unte þata waurd galgins þaim fralusnandam dwaliþa ist, þaim ganisandam mahts gudis ist.
— For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Corinthians I 1:19
A gameliþ ist auk: fraqistja snutrein þize snutrane jah frodein þize frodane uskiusa.
— For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
Corinthians I 1:20
A ƕar handugs? ƕar bokareis? ƕar sokareis þis aiwis? nih dwala gatawida guþ handugein þis fairƕaus?
— ποῦ σοφός; ποῦ γραμματεύς; ποῦ συζητητὴς τοῦ αἰῶνος τούτου; οὐχὶ ἐμώρανεν ὁ θεὸς τὴν σοφίαν τοῦ κόσμου;
— Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
Corinthians I 1:21
A unte auk in handugein gudis ni ufkunnaida sa fairƕus þairh handugein guþ, galeikaida guda þairh þo dwaliþa þizos wailamereinais ganasjan þans galaubjandans.
— For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
Corinthians I 1:22
A unte Iudaieis taikne bidjand, Krekos handugein sokjand;
— For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
Corinthians I 1:23
A  weis merjam Iesu ushramidana, Iudaium gamarzein, þiudom dwaliþa;
— But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
Corinthians I 1:24
A  þaim galaþodam Iudaie jah þiudo Xristu, gudis maht jah gudis handugein.
— But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Corinthians I 1:25
A unte so dwaliþa gudis handugozei mannam ....
— Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
