Corinthians I chapter 11

Corinthians I 11:1: ^A Galeikondans meinai wairþaiþ, swaswe ik Xristaus.; — μιμηταί μου γίνεσθε, καθὼς κἀγὼ χριστοῦ.; — Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Corinthians I 11:2: ^A hazjuþ~þan izwis, broþrjus, þei allata mein gamunandans sijuþ, jas~swaswe anafalh izwis, anabusnins gafastaiþ.; — ἐπαινῶ δὲ ὑμᾶς ὅτι πάντα μου μέμνησθε καὶ καθὼς παρέδωκα ὑμῖν τὰς παραδόσεις κατέχετε.; — Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
Corinthians I 11:3: ^A wiljauþ~þan izwis witan þatei allaize abne haubiþ Xristus ist; iþ haubiþ qinons aba; iþ haubiþ Xristaus guþ.; — θέλω δὲ ὑμᾶς εἰδέναι ὅτι παντὸς ἀνδρὸς ἡ κεφαλὴ ὁ χριστός ἐστιν, κεφαλὴ δὲ γυναικὸς ὁ ἀνήρ, κεφαλὴ δὲ τοῦ χριστοῦ ὁ θεός.; — But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Corinthians I 11:4: ^A ƕazuh abne bidjands aiþþau praufetjands gahulidamma haubida gaaiwiskoþ haubiþ sein.; — πᾶς ἀνὴρ προσευχόμενος ἢ προφητεύων κατὰ κεφαλῆς ἔχων καταισχύνει τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ:; — Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
Corinthians I 11:5: ^A iþ ƕoh qinono bidjandei aiþþau praufetjandei andhulidamma haubida gaaiwiskoþ haubiþ sein; ain auk ist jah þata samo þizai biskabanon.; — πᾶσα δὲ γυνὴ προσευχομένη ἢ προφητεύουσα ἀκατακαλύπτῳ τῇ κεφαλῇ καταισχύνει τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτῆς: ἓν γάρ ἐστιν καὶ τὸ αὐτὸ τῇ ἐξυρημένῃ.; — But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
Corinthians I 11:6: ^A unte jabai ni huljai sik qino, skabaidau; iþ jabai agl ist qinon du kapillon aiþþau skaban, gahuljai ....; — εἰ γὰρ οὐ κατακαλύπτεται γυνή, καὶ κειράσθω: εἰ δὲ αἰσχρὸν γυναικὶ τὸ κείρασθαι ἢ ξυρᾶσθαι, κατακαλυπτέσθω.; — For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
Corinthians I 11:21: ^A .... seinamma faursniwiþ du matjan, jah þan sums gredags sumzuþ~þan drugkans ist.; — ἕκαστος γὰρ τὸ ἴδιον δεῖπνον προλαμβάνει ἐν τῷ φαγεῖν, καὶ ὃς μὲν πεινᾷ, ὃς δὲ μεθύει.; — For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
Corinthians I 11:22: ^A ibai auk gardins ni habaiþ du matjan jah drigkan? þau aikklesjon gudis frakunnuþ, jah gaaiwiskoþ þans unhabandans? ƕa qiþau izwis? hazjau izwis? in þamma ni hazja.; — μὴ γὰρ οἰκίας οὐκ ἔχετε εἰς τὸ ἐσθίειν καὶ πίνειν; ἢ τῆς ἐκκλησίας τοῦ θεοῦ καταφρονεῖτε, καὶ καταισχύνετε τοὺς μὴ ἔχοντας; τί εἴπω ὑμῖν; ἐπαινέσω ὑμᾶς; ἐν τούτῳ οὐκ ἐπαινῶ.; — What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
Corinthians I 11:23: ^A unte ik andnam at fraujin þatei jah anafalh izwis, þatei frauja Iesus in þizaiei naht galewiþs was, nam hlaif; — ἐγὼ γὰρ παρέλαβον ἀπὸ τοῦ κυρίου, ὃ καὶ παρέδωκα ὑμῖν, ὅτι ὁ κύριος ἰησοῦς ἐν τῇ νυκτὶ ᾗ παρεδίδετο ἔλαβεν ἄρτον; — For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
Corinthians I 11:24: ^A jah awiliudonds gabrak jah qaþ: nimiþ, matjiþ, þata ist leik mein, þata in izwara gabrukano; þata waurkjaiþ du meinai gamundai.; — καὶ εὐχαριστήσας ἔκλασεν καὶ εἶπεν, τοῦτό μού ἐστιν τὸ σῶμα τὸ ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν: τοῦτο ποιεῖτε εἰς τὴν ἐμὴν ἀνάμνησιν.; — And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Corinthians I 11:25: ^A swah samaleiko jah stikl afar nahtamat qiþands: sa stikls so niujo triggwa ist in meinamma bloþa; þata waurkjaiþ, swa ufta swe drigkaiþ, du meinai gamundai.; — ὡσαύτως καὶ τὸ ποτήριον μετὰ τὸ δειπνῆσαι, λέγων, τοῦτο τὸ ποτήριον ἡ καινὴ διαθήκη ἐστὶν ἐν τῷ ἐμῷ αἵματι: τοῦτο ποιεῖτε, ὁσάκις ἐὰν πίνητε, εἰς τὴν ἐμὴν ἀνάμνησιν.; — After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Corinthians I 11:26: ^A swa ufta auk swe matjaiþ þana hlaif jaþ~þana stikl drigkaiþ, dauþau fraujins gakannjaiþ, unte qimai.; — ὁσάκις γὰρ ἐὰν ἐσθίητε τὸν ἄρτον τοῦτον καὶ τὸ ποτήριον πίνητε, τὸν θάνατον τοῦ κυρίου καταγγέλλετε, ἄχρις οὗ ἔλθῃ.; — For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
Corinthians I 11:27: ^A eiþan ƕazuh saei matjiþ þana hlaif aiþþau drigkai þana stikl fraujins unwairþaba fraujins, skula wairþiþ leikis jah bloþis fraujins.; — ὥστε ὃς ἂν ἐσθίῃ τὸν ἄρτον ἢ πίνῃ τὸ ποτήριον τοῦ κυρίου ἀναξίως, ἔνοχος ἔσται τοῦ σώματος καὶ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ κυρίου.; — Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
Corinthians I 11:28: ^A aþþan gakiusai sik silban manna jah swa þis hlaibis matjai jaþ~þis stiklis drigkai.; — δοκιμαζέτω δὲ ἄνθρωπος ἑαυτόν, καὶ οὕτως ἐκ τοῦ ἄρτου ἐσθιέτω καὶ ἐκ τοῦ ποτηρίου πινέτω:; — But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
Corinthians I 11:29: ^A saei auk matjiþ jah drigkiþ unwairþaba, staua sis silbin matjiþ <jah drigkiþ>, ni domjands leik fraujins.; — ὁ γὰρ ἐσθίων καὶ πίνων κρίμα ἑαυτῷ ἐσθίει καὶ πίνει μὴ διακρίνων τὸ σῶμα.; — For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
Corinthians I 11:30: ^A duþþe in izwis managai siukai jah unhailai, jag~gaslepand ganohai.; — διὰ τοῦτο ἐν ὑμῖν πολλοὶ ἀσθενεῖς καὶ ἄρρωστοι καὶ κοιμῶνται ἱκανοί.; — For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
Corinthians I 11:31: ^A iþ jabai silbans uns stauidedeima, ni þau ....; — εἰ δὲ ἑαυτοὺς διεκρίνομεν, οὐκ ἂν ἐκρινόμεθα:; — For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
